myancar.com is the very first car rental service in Myanmar with the goal of providing a platform that is safe, secure and reliable for both their customers and vendors.
myancar.com used HubSpot Starter Suite as its database by themselves for almost a year without setting it up properly. When the contract was up for renewal in 2021, we audited their portal and discovered that the tools weren’t performing as intended and that myancar.com wasn’t getting the most out of HubSpot.
Our audit showed that it wasn’t the tools themselves that were the issue, but rather how they were implemented. myancar.com’s setup wasn’t optimal as they were not utilizing HubSpot to its potential.
1. DATA ACCURACY ISSUES
Data redundancy and accuracy were one of the main issues as they were not helping the marketing team work together seamlessly. It was instead, creating problems.
Some of the concerns that stood out included erroneous contact records -where email addresses and duplicate contact information were kept.
2. INCREASED EMAIL BOUNCE RATE
The majority of emails sent using HubSpot had a higher bounce rate and were sent to spam or promotional boxes.
3. COLLAPSE MARKETING EFFORTS
myancar.com recently launched their new website and social media campaigns. However, they were not integrated with HubSpot. This means that lead generation campaigns and leads from different channels collapsed. Their website also lacked essential lead-generating tools such as Live Chat and forms which can be easily created from HubSpot.
We listened carefully to myancar.com’s frustrations and understood where their issues lay. They needed to clean their database, set up Marketing Essential Assets correctly, and classroom training.
1. DATABASE CLEAN UP AND SEGMENTATION
We compiled invalid email addresses and bounced email addresses into a list. Then deleted the list and removed the duplicates. With the segmentation of contacts into two different groups – B2B and B2C contacts. This allowed the marketing team to launch Marketing campaigns based on audiences.
2. SETTING UP MARKETING ESSENTIAL ASSETS
After cleaning up the database properly and deleting the bounce list, our next step was to set up all the essential marketing assets properly. The first one was integrating Email Sending Domain to avoid delivering marketing emails into their lead’s promotional or spam inboxes. This helped marketing emails to be delivered into the main inbox. Next, we set up Live Chat on their website and created a “Promotional Updates” Side Pop-up form for lead generation.
3. TRAINING THE CLIENT TO BE ADAPTIVE
B360 came up with a number of strategies and quickly adapted to the ones that worked best. We create a how-to video, step-by-step, Marketing Hub Tools Usage for every single tool we launched to solve myancar.com’s issues in the long run. We also produced guides and other resources for their internal knowledge base.
myancar.com has now utilised all the marketing assets available on HubSpot based on their requirements. The setup B360 built is working exactly as intended.
Data is being entered correctly and bounced email addresses will go into the active list of Bounced in the future. Email Delivery was improved, and bounces were alleviated.
They now have the inbound leads coming from website live chat and 352.38% increased.
Also, their “Promotional Updates” email subscribers are amazingly increasing.
Thanks to data accuracy and customizable segmentation in HubSpot, myancar.com’s email bounce rate has decreased to 30.303%. With clear segmentation, they can now launch their campaigns successfully and effectively. In addition, their team is able to manage their email marketing campaigns without any additional lead-generating tools from different sources.
